Artificial Heart with no surgery

This is based on a new concept: non-invasive blood circulation support.

The idea is to use the legs and arms of the patient as a pump. Mainly in the legs the veins have valves. and the external pressure drives blood in the right direction. There is already a system called “Plantar Venous Pump”, both a physiological mechanism and a device that applies cyclic pressure on the feet. My idea is to extend this system to all the body, in order to provide enough pumping energy to replace a failing heart.
